The selection of the Gramin Dak Sevak is based solely on the marks in the 10th class. The circle-wise and category-wise merit list is prepared based on 10th marks. There is no interview or written exam for GDS Recruitment.

The document verification is conducted after the declaration of the result. If the vacancies are not filled by the 1st merit list, then further merit lists are declared for document verification.
